Even journalists marry. If she had been in the sauna, she might have reported
naked.
That is not news, the reporting of the earthquake itself is.

Exactly. Just look at her deportment. A modern Chines bride in her element as a
reporter. They (the nouveau middle class Chinese) are becoming like
Americans now. She has plenty of opportunity for many new marriages to look
forward to. Wouldn’t she do this still if it was her 2nd 3rd 4th marriage? Like
Americans, marriage is just a ritual one has to go though – and if a good news
story come up in the middle – Great... and exclusive! I don't see the sacrifice.

I think, that I felt sorry for kids that felt they were just an accessory,
because Mom had to keep leaving them in the care of others because she had
to appear again on TV,... just so she could afford to give him lots of lovely
toys... Oh great, thanks Mom! Job comes first, ''you'' come second; oh, and by
the way, your going to have another daddy -he is an 'executive' can you believe
that!. Over the last 40 years I've seen it all, (UK's BBC and ITV and other news
gathering personnel) This Chinese reporter was just doing what anyone in her
position would be expected to do. It was just a serendipitous opportunity. No
sweat.

And if you think just because some journalists are are all lovely dovlely.
Others, have editors that demand stories that sell newspaper so they kowtow.
Why should we need organisations like
http://www.pcc.org.uk/news/index.html?article=Mzg2Mw== if some journalists and
their editors don't have harts of stone. Journalist are like sys admin's ,
some are good and some leave you wanting to pull you hair out even though they
appear when expected. So it is with journalists.
