We’re not sure how many Accounts are affected nor
how many apps, but it seems to be an unintended consequence of some of the
backend changes Microsoft has been making to their services. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Jesse, well done.
And, I notice, a touch of the rebel in you, putting the 'COMES document thread'
*before* the 'Off topic discussions' in the face of established practice.

Justice Sonia Sotomayor noted that possession of marijuana with intent to
distribute is a federal crime, but she said that where the amount is small and
there is no sale, the crime does not qualify as an aggravated felony, or even a
felony. The government's attempt to characterize such an offense as an
aggravated felony, she said, "defies the commonsense conception of these
terms."

Among the most popular claims are:
- that DRM doesn’t
work; that it exists to protect creators, but since it is easily cracked and can
be worked around, it is largely ineffective and irrelevant
- that DRM in
HTML5 is a necessary compromise to finally bring an end to the proliferation of
proprietary, platform-specific browser plugins such as Adobe Flash Player and
Micrisoft Silverlight
- that the web needs DRM in HTML5 in order for
Hollywood and other media giants to finally start giving the Web priority over
delivering media over traditional means
