If I understand correctly the web server doesn't violate any patents (well not
that the trolls are usually claiming), it's the configuration of the use of the
web server that violates the patents. For example, making a web server that can
a) process credit card transactions, b) store credit card information, and c) be
configured to execute these actions on any input isn't violating anyone's patent
to be able to buy stuff online in one click. However using that web server to
store credit card information and being able to use stored credit card
information to be able to buy stuff in one click does. The configuration
violates the patent, not the web server. The users in this context are the
people buying stuff, they're not being sued (yet).
Note this post does not discuss the validity of the patents.
