That the judge imposed something that is 4000% lower than requested does not
mean that the initial offer was unreasonable.
Think of it this way. You can have a great meal at _The Abbey_ in Atlanta, and
pay a very pretty penny. You can also stay at a homeless shelter, and have an
equally good meal provided by _The Abbey_. Does that mean that the people that
go _The Abbey_ are paying an unreasonable sum, because other people (the people
in the homeless shelter) get the same meal gratis?
If you'd rather use another city, go ahead. You'll find that in every town in
North America with more than two eating establishments rated by Zaggat with four
or more stars, at least one of those establishments provides meals to a local
homeless shelter once a fortnight, or more frequently.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]
