No-one but yourself.
The solution:
Tor.
Equal physical force available to everyone (including military and police - it's
called democracy: *Everyone* is equal)
Get involved in politics - the government hates it when they have to deal with
an informed, active population.
Personal EMPs if you're actually worried about RFID chips - they're suprisingly
easy to make.[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

We'll just be able to catch them more easily.
If no one is exempt, then all law enforcement & politicians will be tagged.
This would be a field day for criminals. Imagine being able to track the cops
who are tracking you!
I expect the politicians to step on it yet again. They're good at not thinking
things through.
The question is, who makes money from this?[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

afaik we don't typically have cctv in residential areas.
HOWEVER. Pretty much all transport facilities have CCTV (major roads, trains,
buses, stations of all sorts). Shops and shopping centres. Car parks. Many
offices (my last employer was a jeweller, so that was expected...).
So yes, you can expect to be covered by cctv for much of the time you are out of
the house. To some extent it's actually comforting - if anything happens there's
a good chance a camera will have recorded it.
And the privacy implications? Well, the recordings are rarely kept that long
unless something happens, and given the stories we get about missing tapes, I
think all too often the authorities are overwhelmed by the quantity of data.
After all, masses of data does not equal information...
Cheers,
