OP may be referring to the study published in one of the big journals (Science
Yellow Press, aka Nature or Science) about rats fed on a diet of either
untreated or glyphosate treated maize.
The study raised some eyebrows (viz, quite drastic physiological effects due to
the glyphosate diet), followed by mud slinging at the authors'.
Personally, I'd have thought the sample size too small for supporting such
drastic conclusions, but then I didn't do the statistical analysis. I'm no
biochemist or animal physiologist.
Haven't heard any follow on regarding that story. That's another clue there.
