Microsoft often copies Apple. Now they copied Apple again - remember the
photoshopped Samsung products in their court filings?[ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

'while the Asus tablet is actually 3.5 percent smaller at 43.56 square inches,
"not 36% more as Microsoft depicts."'
Perhaps they used Excel to make those calculations. Honest mistake. ;-)

From the linked-to article:
"On Windows tablets [...] a full 8GB of storage is consumed by a 'recovery
partition' leaving, after Windows and other bundled software, just 33GB free,
about half of the advertised [64GB] storage.
[...] Apple's iOS [...] consumes much less storage, only around 4GB."
"Maybe people aren't as dumb as Microsoft needs them to be."

But Apple did it with photos of Samsung devices and then presented those
doctored photos to a court of law as evidence.
Having said that, isn't this the pot calling the kettle black?
Of course, I'm not a lawyer... and it could very well be that Apple's making
false representations to a judge is the lesser of evils in comparison to
Microsoft's making false representations to the public.
(Kids these days!) :O)
