Patent trolls need a team of lawyers -- I don't.
One of the things that are supposed to make patents invalid is "prior
art". If the phones I mention were sold before Apple "patented this
idea", then that would clearly be an example of prior art and should
invalidate Apple's patent.
And I only mention two phones -- there were hundreds of phone models that did
this before Apple "patented" that idea.
You might need to live with lawyers to get through your day to day life. Most
people, including me, can rely on common sense.
And to honest, your attempted reliance on "technicalities" to try to
make your point, even after you seem to acknowledge that Apple really didn't
invent this idea, is almost a pitiful as Apple's reliance on patent trolling. [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

Actually, all the commenter would need is proof that they
owned the phone prior to 2006, and the working phone. At
least that's my non-lawyer opinion.
Have a great day.:)
