Somebody went to a lot of trouble dreaming this up for
nothing. One thing
(out of many) I hate about Windows 8 is
the whole concept of these Metro apps
and Microsoft's App
Store - a closed off world now where Windows was
traditionally open for making, buying, and selling
Freeware/Shareware/For pay
apps. For me the greatest
attraction to Windows was this, and I have a website
where I
offer many little apps and utilities I developed over the
years. I
have also benefitted tremendously from other
people's apps and utilities over
the years. Now Microsoft
wants to insert itself in the middle of this all and
tax it.
No thanks, Microsoft. Not for me - I'll go over to Linux
and/or
Chromebook/Android before I'll ever let you profit
from my labours! [ Reply to This | Parent | # ]

As in "Blue Screen of Death"?
