Microsoft Reorganizes Footcannon
Authored by: Anonymous on Thursday, June 06 2013 @ 03:53 PM EDT
Hilarious... a devices and services company.

So yesterday's news about Windows 8.1, and how Microsoft was sweetening their
stance to appease their hardware partners who thought M$ was invading their
territory with the Surface, is already obsolete.

Once again we see the 'benefits' of partnering with M$.
The device makers will all move to Android, and as for services... well, M$
hasn't known the maening of that word ever since they obtained a monopoly and
decided they didn't need to bother since they had a captive audience. Service
to Microsoft means "You'll take what we tell you you want, and you'll pay
what we like!"

Well, except the new Xbox comes with iron-grip terms of
service, and the future isn't looking too bright for the
patent parasite ecosystem just now.
