TBF the Beeb was quoting Prof. Richard Aldrich on what he expected
Mr Cameron to say. A story in the highest traditions of journalism
crafted from third party conjecture </sarcasm>
What got me puzzled was a line in the para above the steam engine:
>> you can't have 100% privacy and 100% security
Now I'm sure I'll have security wonks telling me why that's true.
My attitude is that if I can have 100% privacy and 100% security then
you will need it too, to protect yourself from me. At this point the
internet starts to lose value for both of us, like a steam engine ...

That headline is totally correct:
SCO /did/ win Linux licence payments; just not in the way most people would
think: they won in the same way that a poker player wins the pot when holding
only a queen high - they bluff so much that the others who have better hands
