Or at least a true facsimile of him. Be of good spirit you might still awaken
enlightened.

The marble in the statue of David =
product of nature
The statue of
david =
product of human art and skills
The human model who posed for
the creation of the statue of David =
product of nature
The dna that
exists in the model =
product of nature
The slice of dna that exists in
the model =
product of nature
The creation (assuming it was actually
created) of a chemical compound that is identical to the slice of dna =
made
by man, but fails due to obviousness and prior art - the prior art of which was
created by nature
The separation of a chemical compound that ends up being
the slice of dna =
product of nature
End result: No, I'm not with you
on the conclusion that BRCA2 is not a product of nature.

Since the Statue Of David fails basic 101 patent eligibility for reasons
other then being a product of nature:
It does not matter that the end result
of the Statue is not a product of nature!
It would be phenomenally amazing
though if a natural occurance did happen. Like water seeping into a cave and
wearing away at stone in such a way as to create such a work of
art.
Nature is filled with such wonders - such as the Firefalls of
Yosemite Park.
