No, man did not cut out the gene. He just used well known natural processes to
cut out the gene. It happens in nature all the time otherwise there wouldn't be
any life.
Statues do not naturally pop out of marble.

Disappointing. I was hoping for better than an "is not", "is
too" back-and-forth.
So, plucking things from nature makes them man-made? A cherry blossom from a
tree... a feather from a sparrow... a nose-hair from a nostril... all are
man-made, and therefore paragraph 101-eligible?
I'm sure you are fully aware of the silliness of your argument, if only you
could exercise a little intellectual honesty to admit it.
