This is in Danish and the part about the Swedish lender is as follows:
"I Sverige føres der netop nu en sag ved Högsta Domstolen (Sveriges
Højesteret), idet en advokat ved navn Henning Witte har nægtet at betale et
rentebeløb, som hans bank kræver betalt. Advokaten hævder, at banken ifølge
loven slet ikke er berettiget til at udstede elektroniske penge, og derfor skal
de heller ikke betales tilbage eller forrentes."
A quick translation:
"In Sweden a case is heard in Högsta Domstolen (Sweden's Supreme Court),
regarding a lawyer named Henning Witte, who has refused to pay the interest his
bank demands. The Lawyer claims the bank is not entitled to issuing electronic
money and therefore the loan needn't be paid back and can't carry
interest"
BTW: The article's main argument is that governments have lost control of the
issuing of currency due to the use of electronic money by banks and that this is
a major factor in having brought us to the current crisis.
