There is a real speed limit for EM radiation. It is set by the transmission
medium of space, which is Bose-Einstein condensate of electron-positron pairs,
vibrating in 'imaginary' directions to our own 3 'real' dimensions. There are 6
'imaginary' degrees of freedom, plus 3 real ones, plus time, making a

I think space might have a lot more particles than that (or not). Empty space is
impossible. To get there, you need absolute zero, ie the removal of all energy,
and I don't understand the maths but it's something to do with space has
vibration energy or it wouldn't exist.
And as soon as you have energy you have Hawking Radiation, ie particles
appearing and disappearing from "nothing".
