The fun part is that there is no "physically existing" number at all.
Not even the speed of light...
It is only a theoretical limit computed from what it SHOULD be if space were a
true vacuum (which doesn't exist anywhere - there are always some stray
particles in there that distort it). I understand that a bit outside of earths
orbit it is something like 1 particle per cubic meter... and likely higher
during solar storms.
The lowest speed I've read about was 38 miles/hour, or very close to that...
