It's probably the same medication and the journalist was too
lazy, or forgot in the rush to make a deadline, to do a better
job comparing for similar time units. My father was on cancer
medication that cost $7500 for ONE pill, which he had to take
monthly. I suspect that it doesn't cost anywhere near that

But I just don't get where
you got the $300 value from. Even the highest number - $75,000 per year
- is less then 300 when divided by number of days in a year.
