Attack of the cyberbullshit ..
Authored by: red floyd on Monday, July 01 2013 @ 11:15 PM EDT
My response to this is:

What in the name of the Flying Spaghetti Monster are you doing with critical
infrastructure such as power grids and pipelines on the open Internet.

Also, let me reword your quote, Mr. Samuelson:

"If I could, I would repeal the airplane. It is the technological marvel of
the age, but .. it brings with it a terrifying danger: air war.. By air warfare,
I mean the capacity .. to attack, disrupt and possibly destroy .. power grids,
pipelines, communication and financial systems, supply-chain operations,
railroads and airlines, buildings of all types (from hospitals to government
agencies). The list runs on..."

Now go back to playing with your buggy-whip, sir.

A cyberwar involves human brains in suits of armour stomping around saying "Delete. Delete." How would repealing the internet prevent that?
