Yup - I have used various translators to try to understand what's written in another language.

I always keep in mind that no matter how bad a human translator can be - and they can be pretty bad - automated translations are even worse.

Throw in different Legal Jurisdictions with their own particular Laws and views and the perspectives can be radically different. Even in the same Jurisdiction and environment, different people can easily have quite different views. Much like the differences between those who believe patents should have no limitations and those of us who believe they should.

The best we can do in such situations is try and communicate to the best of our abilities in order to get our concepts understood.
