The Tony Award-winning musical came out in 2005 and was penned by original Monty
Python member Eric Idle. It's described in marketing as
"lovingly ripped off from" the 1975 film about the Arthurian Legend, and in his
lawsuit, Forstater said that he was due money on "spin-offs" under a 1974
agreement between him and the Pythons, including Michael Palin,
Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry
Jones and Terry Gilliam.
During a trial late
last year, Forstater's lawyer said his client was the "seventh Python" for
purposes of profit-sharing, and that the other members couldn't unilaterally
reduce his share.

The US authorities’ relentless campaign to hunt down and block
whistleblower Edward Snowden’s attempts to seek asylum is deplorable and amounts
to a gross violation of his human rights Amnesty International said today.
“The US attempts to pressure governments to block Snowden’s attempts to
seek asylum are deplorable,” said Michael Bochenek, Director of Law and Policy
at Amnesty International.
“It is his unassailable right, enshrined in
international law, to claim asylum and this should not be
impeded.”

Is it just me, or does Oracles letter read like a bad contact ad? (or worse...)
Then again, Java was devellopped to make household appliances like
refridgerators communicate with each other, so maybe it _is_ the electronic
language of love...

This 12 years old boy said a lot of insightful and
enlightened things
last March, and they make a lot more
sense
now that Morsi has been
overthrown.
If this boy learnt and thought all those things by himself,
I'm really, really impressed.
And ashamed of some adult that
doesn't even
know what a "fascist theocracy" is.
This boy is way ahead of many of
his fellow citizens, and
even of some Western politicians.
It's not
juvenile rage. It's reading the news. Surfing the
Internet. Using his own
brain. An excellent read & watch, definitely
recommended.
I can't beat my wife up and almost kill her, and
then
tell you this is 'discipline'!

Bruce Schneier noted this article as
interesting,
Apple is famously focused on design and human
experience as their top guiding principles. When it comes to
security, that
focus created a conundrum. Security is all about placing obstacles in the way of
attackers, but
(despite the claims of security vendors) those same obstacles
can get in the way of users, too.
...
For many years, Apple tended to
choose good user experience at the expense of leaving users vulnerable to
security risks. That strategy worked for a long time, in part because Apple's
comparatively low market share
made its products less attractive targets. But
as Apple products began to gain in popularity, many of us in the
security
business wondered how Apple would adjust its security strategies to its new
position in the
spotlight.

The paper shows how long copyright terms disappear books, but how
youtube, with its notice and monetize process, revives music and video.
Methinks its time to start "out-of-print-books".com, operating like
youtube,
as a division of amazon.
